Our Story

Cyber Defense Initiative is an unincorporated non-profit association. Here, we are driven to do our part in protecting our communities from Cyber Threats. Since pandemic, internet usage has ballooned across our communities, with computer and internet becoming core backbone of purchase, education and work-from-home. This has resulted in 20% increase in internet users, with a 40-100% increase in internet service usage. Along with this growth in computer usage we have also noticed a steady growth in cyber crimes and cyber threats at home, with 60% of Americans already exposed to it. Lack of knowledge and awareness of risks among users makes them vulnerable to Cybercrime.Cyber Defense Initiative aims to increase awareness and knowledge about cybercrimes through series of lectures, blogs, podcasts. Such Knowledge, and Awareness will equip our communities with defense mechanisms such as avoid, protect and react
